COUNTDOWN TO CHAOS School’,s out for the summer, but fifteen-year-old Shirota Mahiru has no time to kick back. Not while the clock is ticking on the verge of a Servamp war! He and Kuro have more questions than answers, especially about the secret group known as C3. But one thing is dead certain: the evil Tsubaki is still a homicidal monster with Shirota and Kuro in his sights.
Mahiru reads one day a black cat in the street and gives him the name Kuro. But Kuro is a servant vampire! For he is also known as “Sleepy Ash,” the Servamp of inertia, and thus the exact opposite of dutiful Mahiru. Mahiru unintentionally forms a contract with the bloodsucker and gets embroiled in an ancient conflict between vampires and humans.
